Job summary

Inspira (01) in Blackpool and Carlisle is seeking an Employability Adviser to deliver the Restart Scheme, helping long-term unemployed adults find sustainable employment.

You’ll work one-to-one with participants, provide tailored support, create action plans, run group sessions, and build relationships with employers to expand opportunities. This on-site role is permanent and based in Blackpool or Carlisle.

Qualifications

• Empowering individuals with expert career advice, motivation, and confidence-building strategies
• Delivering intensive one-to-one support, helping participants identify their strengths and transferable skills
• Creating tailored action plans to help individuals achieve their employment goals
• Facilitating engaging group sessions to support job search strategies and skill development
• Keeping up with the local job market and building relationships with employers to create opportunities
• Managing your own caseload, ensuring each participant receives ongoing support and guidance
• Meeting and exceeding targets, making a tangible impact on people’s lives
