Cottingley Village Primary School seeks an Early Years Teaching Assistant to support learning across the school under the guidance of the class teacher, EYFS lead and SENCO. The role includes working with small groups, supporting individuals with additional needs, and helping with daily classroom routines.

The successful candidate will contribute to pupil progress and wellbeing, assist in planning and delivering activities, and work closely with staff to create a nurturing, inclusive environment

Qualifications

• Experience in an Early Years setting including Reception class.
• Knowledge of Early Years curriculum and statutory guidance.
• Commitment to ensuring pupil progress and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Support learning, development and wellbeing of pupils across the school.
• Work with small groups and individuals with additional needs.
• Assist in planning and delivering high-quality learning activities.
• Support children's personal, social and emotional development.
• Contribute to a smooth running of the classroom and routines.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO on targets and assessments.
• Help raise standards through consistent practice.
• Be part of a team approach to learning and behaviour management.
