Job summary

Nocturnal Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Day Centre Support Worker in Edmonton, London Borough of Enfield. You will provide compassionate, person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs, both in the day centre and in the local community.

You will help service users gain life skills, confidence, and social inclusion through structured activities. A DBS check is required, and the role is 30 hours per week with a 9:30am–3:30pm schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or complex needs.
• Ability to promote person-centred care and independence.
• Willingness to provide personal care.
• DBS check via Update Service or within last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
• Support individuals to access on-site and community activities.
• Promote independence, confidence and life skills through meaningful engagement.
• Encourage participation in arts, music, gardening, sports and other activities.
• Assist with transport and community outings as needed.
• Maintain accurate daily records and report safeguarding concerns.
• Work with colleagues to maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
