Job summary

Lighthouse Capital Services Ltd in Sturry, Kent is seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our children’s residential home. You will help create a safe, nurturing environment, support education, leisure and personal development while building confidence and independence in young people.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, willingness to work shifts and sleep-ins, and preferably experience in children’s residential care.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and sleep-ins as part of a rota.
• Experience in children's residential care desirable; understanding of Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in the home.
• Create a safe, stable and nurturing environment; support education, leisure and personal development.
• Promote independence and help young people develop confidence and life skills.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and daily documentation.
• Work in partnership with families and external professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
