Job summary

CareTech Community Services is seeking a Children’s Residential Support Worker for Tower View, near Colne. Location: Foulridge, with 8 sleep-ins per month and a salary between £35,798 and £36,563 depending on Level 3/4 qualification in Children’s Residential Care.

A full UK driving licence is required, and sponsorship is not available. You will support young people with daily routines, contribute to care planning, and help create a warm, homely environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
• Ability to be warm, patient, and a great listener.
• Willingness to develop and learn with support from manager and team.

Responsibilities

• Support young people with daily routines (school/college, meals).
• Keep care plans up to date and document feedback from children.
• Build relationships and provide emotional support to young people.
