The Edwin Group in Manchester is seeking a compassionate Children’s Mentor to provide 1:1 and small group support, helping students rebuild confidence and re-engage with learning in a supportive school setting.

This full-time temporary role offers PAYE pay of £475–£525 per week, with a November 2026 start date. You will join a team dedicated to safeguarding and student wellbeing, making a lasting difference in young people’s lives.

Qualifikationen

• Calm, positive, and resilient approach to managing challenging behaviour.
• Empathy and ability to build trusting relationships with vulnerable pupils.
• Genuine passion for supporting young people with SEMH needs or complex backgrounds.
• Experience in education, youth work, mentoring, or pastoral support.
• Strong safeguarding and child protection mindset.
