Remedy Tutors, part of the Remedy Recruitment Group, is seeking caring 1:1 SEND Mentors to support children and young people across Coventry. The role provides mentoring and emotional support, typically in the student’s home, helping build confidence and re-engage with education.

You will work to foster resilience, social and communication skills, with flexible hours to suit families and learners, contributing to positive educational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND/SEMH
• Patient, empathetic and able to build strong relationships
• DBS Update Service (or willingness to obtain)

Responsabilités

• Provide tailored 1:1 mentoring in the student’s home
• Build positive, trusting relationships with young people
• Support emotional wellbeing, confidence and resilience
• Encourage engagement with learning and positive routines
• Help students develop social, communication and independence skills
• Work towards personalised educational and personal development goals
• Complete session reports and provide regular progress feedback
