Job summary

Witherslack Group is recruiting a Residential Support Worker to help children and young people with SEMH in our UK homes. You will support daily life, school routines, homework and activities, helping them build a positive future.

The role offers a base salary of £35,232 - £41,808 (subject to attendance) with up to four sleep-ins per month (£80 per sleep). A 4‑week induction via our Care Academy, generous holiday and wellbeing initiatives are provided to support your development.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid UK driving licence (held at least 12 months).
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent required (or the employer will fund study).
• A can-do attitude, honesty, empathy and resilience are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people with daily routines, school preparation and homework.
• Plan activities and outings; help create positive memories and pathways for development.
• Complete paperwork and assist with care planning; evenings and weekends include activities and engagement.
