Job summary

Cygnet in Dene Brook, Rotherham, is seeking a confident Care & Support Worker to help people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. You will work full time on a two-week rolling rota, 12-hour daytime shifts, including alternate weekends, delivering person-centred care and supporting daily living.

This role offers training, DBS check required, and adding benefits such as discounts and wellbeing support.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals' specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with and report on medical & welfare needs
• Safeguard
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
• Supporting service users to access the community, to attend things like work, college, hobbies & activities, days out & holidays
• Supporting the service users to grow, develop & learn through engaging them in tasks such as cooking & cleaning
