Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to support primary school pupils in the Cranleigh area. The role involves 1:1 or small group work, helping with tasks and promoting independent learning across our partner schools.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping students succeed
• Strong communication with young people
• Patience, empathy and a positive approach
• Previous experience with children or in an educational setting is important
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills (training can be provided)

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 support to a student or small group within a resource base
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
• Supporting students in completing assigned work and encouraging independent learning
• Monitoring student progress and reporting concerns to the class teacher
