Elcons Employment Law Consultants Limited in Ripponden, Halifax, West Yorkshire, is seeking an Employment Tribunal Advocate to join our legal services team. The role manages Employment Tribunal cases from instruction through to hearing, representing clients at hearings and contributing from day one.

The role is office-based, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We offer a salary of £45k–£50k with a 3-month probation, plus benefits including private medical insurance, 25 days’ leave plus eight

Qualifications

• Proven experience representing clients at Employment Tribunals.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and tribunal procedures.
• Ability to manage tribunal cases independently from start to finish.
• Excellent advocacy, negotiation and communication skills.
• Organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Professional, approachable manner with commitment to client service.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and manage Employment Tribunal cases from start to finish.
• Represent clients at preliminary, case management and final hearings.
• Prepare tribunal documentation, witness statements and hearing bundles.
• Advise clients on merits, risks and potential outcomes.
• Negotiate and conclude settlements where appropriate.
• Liaise with tribunals, solicitors and other parties.
• Maintain accurate records on the case management system.
• Support colleagues within the legal services team.
