Job summary

Kisharon Langdon UK is seeking an Employment Support Worker in Colindale, North West London. The role supports individuals with learning disabilities and autistic people to access and progress in employment, with close collaboration with employers and support services.

You will provide tailored one-to-one guidance, help with CVs, applications, and interview prep, and work to secure suitable roles and work trials. A driving licence and willingness to travel may be required.

  • Liaise with employers to identify suitable roles, promote inclusive recruitment practices, and arrange work trials or interviews.
  • Provide ongoing one-to-one support during settling in at work and beyond to ensure successful integration.

Salary: £25,000

Hours: 36 hour per week

Location: Colindale, North West London

Kisharon Langdon UK has an exciting opportunity for an Employment Support Worker to join their growing team in Colindale, North West London.

The Role

To provide tailored employment support to individuals with learning disabilities and autistic people, helping them access, retain, and progress in meaningful paid or voluntary employment. The role involves working closely with the people we support, employers, and support services to ensure individuals are fully prepared and supported in their employment journey.

Key Responsibilities

About You
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines and comfortable with changing volumes of workload
  • Experience supporting people with learning disabilities or similar needs.
  • Understanding of the barriers to employment faced by people with disabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and empower others.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients, employers, and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to travel and work occasionally outside regular hours.
  • Full driving license and access to own vehicle.
