Job summary

Aspire Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Employment Advisor to support individuals with disabilities or health-related conditions across the Wirral. You will manage a caseload, deliver tailored support, and help participants progress toward sustainable employment.

The role focuses on outreach, assessments and personalised action plans, with travel across the Wirral region. A DBS check will be required and having access to a vehicle is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Employment Advisor, Employment Coach, Job Coach, Careers Advisor or Recruitment Consultant.
• Experience managing a caseload and supporting individuals into employment.
• Strong understanding of barriers to work and how to overcome them.
• Experience conducting assessments and developing personalised support plans.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, organised and target-focused approach.
• Empathy, resilience and commitment to helping people achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants and provide face-to-face support in the local community.
• Conduct in-depth assessments of skills, experience and barriers to employment.

• Refer participants to training, workshops, mentoring and other support services.
• Set and review SMART goals to monitor progress and engagement.

Working within the community, you'll manage your own caseload, deliver tailored support, and help people overcome barriers to achieve their employment goals. This role would suit someone with a background in employment services or recruitment who is passionate about helping others succeed.

The role involves:

• Managing a caseload of participants and delivering face-to-face support within the local community.
• Conducting in-depth assessments to understand each individual's skills, experience, aspirations and barriers to employment.
• Creating personalised action plans designed to move customers towards sustainable work.
• Referring participants to training, workshops, mentoring and other support services to improve employability.
• Setting and reviewing SMART goals to track progress and maintain engagement.
• Providing ongoing coaching, motivation and practical job search support.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all customer interactions are fully documented.
• Supporting individuals to achieve positive and sustainable employment outcomes.

You'll need:

• Previous experience as an Employment Advisor, Employment Coach, Job Coach, Careers Advisor or Recruitment Consultant.
• Experience managing a caseload and supporting individuals into employment.

Due to the nature of this role, you will be a vehicle driver with access to your own vehicle. You will be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and you will have access to your own vehicle as you will travel across the region.
