• Experience as Employment Advisor, Employment Coach, Job Coach, Careers Advisor or Recruitment Consultant.
• Experience managing a caseload and supporting individuals into employment.
• Strong understanding of barriers to work.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, organised and target-focused approach.
• Empathy and resilience in helping people achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants and deliver face-to-face support in the local community.
• Conduct in-depth assessments to understand skills, experience, aspirations and barriers to employment.
• Create personalised action plans to move customers toward sustainable work.
• Refer participants to training, workshops, mentoring and other support services.
• Set and review SMART goals to track progress and maintain engagement.
• Provide ongoing coaching, motivation and practical job search support.
• Maintain accurate records and document all customer interactions.
• Support individuals to achieve positive and sustainable employment outcomes.

The Role:

Are you an experienced Employment Advisor/Specialist or Recruitment Consultant looking for a role where you can genuinely change lives?

We are looking for motivated, people-focused professionals to join a growing Connect to Work team across the Wirral. This rewarding opportunity involves supporting individuals with disabilities or health-related conditions to move closer to the workplace, secure sustainable employment, and build confidence for the future.

Working within the community, you'll manage your own caseload, deliver tailored support, and help people overcome barriers to achieve their employment goals. This role would suit someone with a background in employment services or recruitment who is passionate about helping others succeed.

The role involves:

• Managing a caseload of participants and delivering face-to-face support within the local community.

You’ll need:

• Previous experience as an Employment Advisor, Employment Coach, Job Coach, Careers Advisor or Recruitment Consultant.


• Experience managing a caseload and supporting individuals into employment.


• Strong understanding of the barriers people can face when seeking work.


• Experience carrying out assessments and developing personalised support plans.


• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Due to the nature of this role, you will be a vehicle driver with access to your own vehicle. You will be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and you will have access to your own vehicle as you will travel across the region.
