QED Legal Recruitment Limited is working with a modern, forward-thinking law firm seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to lead, shape and own the development of the Employment department with genuine autonomy and room to influence strategy.

This role goes beyond routine work; you will build your own pipeline, win new matters, advise business clients and develop strong relationships as the practice grows within a collaborative, sociable team committed to long-term success.

Qualifications

• Established Employment Solicitor (experience level flexible, but confident and capable).
• Proactive with a genuine “go out and win work” mindset.
• Commercially aware and comfortable working with business clients.
• Enthusiastic, driven and keen to progress.
• Autonomy and building something long-term.
• Good cultural fit for a social, modern, team-focused firm.

Responsibilities

• Running and developing the Employment offering within the firm.
• Handling a mix of respondent and claimant work.
• Building your own pipeline and actively helping to win new work.
• Developing client relationships and growing the department over time.
