Our client, a top 50 law firm, are seeking a skilled and dedicated Employment Solicitor to join our clients renowned team as an Associate or Senior Associate, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice and representation to our clients on a wide range of employment law matters.

As a full-service law firm, they are committed to delivering exceptional client service and maintaining a culture of innovation and collaboration. With over 15 offices across the UK, our client offers a range of legal services to individuals and businesses, and are now currently seeking a talented and experienced Associate/Senior Associate Solicitor to join their growing team.

Requirements
  • Legal Advisory Services:

    • Provide expert legal advice on various employment law issues, including but not limited to, contracts, policies, disciplinary matters, grievances, and employment tribunal claims.
    • Stay abreast of changes in employment legislation and ensure clients are informed of the impact on their business.
  • Client Management:

    • Manage and build strong client relationships, understanding their needs and providing tailored legal solutions.
    • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and hearings, ensuring their interests are protected.
  • Case Management:

    • Manage a varied caseload of employment matters, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
    • Draft legal documents, including contracts, settlement agreements, and other employment-related documentation.
  • Business Development:

    • Contribute to the growth of the Employment Law department through proactive business development activities.
    • Participate in marketing initiatives, seminars, and client events to raise the profile of the firm's employment law services.
  • Team Collaboration:

    • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Employment Law team and across other departments to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.

    Qualifications:

    • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in employment law.
    • Proven experience handling a variety of employment law cases, including tribunal claims.
    • Strong understanding of current employment legislation and case law.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Client-focused with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
    • Business development and marketing experience is highly desirable.
