G2 Legal Limited in Oxfordshire is seeking an Employment Solicitor (NQ–3 PQE) to join its Employment and Commercial team. The role offers hybrid working, a salary of £45,000–£60,000 DOE, and a discretionary bonus, with exposure to both contentious and non-contentious matters and business advisory work.

You will be England & Wales qualified, with strong drafting and client-management skills, and a commercial, solutions-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales.
• NQ–3 PQE in Employment Law.
• Experience from a training seat or post-qualification role.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and client management skills.
• Commercial mindset with interest in contracts and business advisory work.

Responsibilities

• Advising employers and employees on a wide range of employment law matters.
• Drafting and reviewing contracts of employment, consultancy agreements, service agreements and staff handbooks.
• Advising on disciplinary, grievance, performance management, dismissal and redundancy processes.
• Preparing and negotiating settlement agreements.
• Assisting with Employment Tribunal claims and dispute resolution.
• Supporting corporate transactions with employment law due diligence and TUPE advice.
• Drafting and advising on commercial contracts, terms and conditions, supplier agreements and business contracts.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through practical and commercially focused advice.

A highly regarded and expanding regional law firm is seeking an ambitious Employment Solicitor (NQ–3 Years PQE) to join its established Employment and Commercial team in Oxfordshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly Qualified Solicitor or Junior Employment Lawyer looking to develop expertise across both contentious and non-contentious employment law, while also gaining valuable exposure to commercial contracts and business advisory work.

The Opportunity

You will manage a varied caseload of employment matters for a diverse client base including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, charities and commercial organisations.

Key responsibilities include:

About You

We are keen to hear from candidates who have:

• Qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales
• Between NQ and 3 years' PQE in Employment Law
• Experience gained through a training seat or post-qualification employment law role
• Strong drafting, negotiation and client management skills
• A commercial and solutions-focused approach to legal advice
• An interest in developing expertise in commercial contracts and business advisory work
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
