Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of employment law and experience advising large businesses on employment related matters.
• Experience advising international clients on cross-border matters is preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Advanced drafting skills and strong legal research abilities are required.
• Experience with transactional matters related to employment and workforce matters.
• Strong academic record and professional credentials in employment law.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR advisory and global project support on employment issues.
• Support corporate and M&A work, restructurings, DEI projects, and investigations.
• Offer guidance on senior exits and outsourcing arrangements.
• Collaborate on large global projects with colleagues across the firm internationally.
• Build and maintain client relationships while contributing to business development.
• Deliver high-quality legal work and contribute to thought leadership.

The Role

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced employment solicitor to join a highly ranked practice at a leading international law firm. The role sits within a market-leading global practice and part of a broader people-focused group covering the full spectrum of workforce related legal advice, advising global businesses across a range of sectors including financial services, retail, media, technology, transport and food and beverage.

Stepping into this role, you can expect a broad mix of high quality work ranging from HR advisory, global project work, corporate and M&A support, restructuring, DEI projects, investigations, advice on senior exits and outsourcing. You will also work on large global projects with other lawyers across the firm internationally.
