Employment Solicitor up to 5 yr PQE – Glasgow – Salary DOE

Are you an experienced Employment Solicitor looking for a new role, or a Newly Qualified solicitor eager to join an established Employment team?

We are eager to speak to NQ Solicitors with an interest in employment law, or experienced solicitors seeking a new challenge in Glasgow. This role is within an established business specializing in employment law issues for a variety of clients throughout the UK. They are looking to add experienced solicitors to their team based in Glasgow to develop their growing portfolio and guide clients in this dynamic area of law.

This is a full-time, permanent role based in Glasgow City Centre with a hybrid working model and on-site parking. Salary is dependent on experience.

Are you who we are looking for?

• You are a NQ Solicitor or an experienced/Senior Solicitor, specializing in Employment Law
• You hold an LLB (Hons) DIP LP and an unrestricted Practising Certificate
• You have client-facing experience and can provide employment law support, advice, and representation to UK businesses
• You are a confident communicator, both written and oral
• You have excellent time and diary management skills
• You have experience attending tribunals and courts when required
• You can support Trainees within the team and help develop their knowledge and experience
• You can act as a brand ambassador, promoting the firm's services

What does the day-to-day involve?

• Managing and maintaining a bespoke portfolio of business clients under senior management guidance
• Following client care protocols
• Advising on client needs via various communication methods
• Liaising with the Head of Litigation regarding employment tribunals
• Drafting employment contracts, handbooks, policies, and procedures
• Preparing employment documentation and settlement agreements
• Delivering training and preparing training materials for clients
• Continuously developing skills to meet Law Society requirements
• Participating in social media activities and initiatives
