Employment Solicitor - Permanent

About the Employment Solicitor position

Sellick Partnership is thrilled to be supporting a National Trade Union, who are seeking to recruit an Employment Solicitor on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time opportunity (35 hours per week), and the successful Employment Solicitor will be responsible for conducting claims in the name of the Union, and representing individual members in tribunals and courts.

This position is offered on a hybrid working basis, with office attendance required 3 times per week.

Responsibilities of the Employment Solicitor
  • Be responsible for the conduct of claims and litigation within the region
  • Undertake representation, including advocacy when appropriate, of individual members of the Union in the tribunals and courts, internal hearings and other procedures when required
  • Provide advice and support to colleagues on legal issues
  • Contribute in the preparation of a range of written document articles on legal issues affecting members
Experience required for the Employment Solicitor
  • A minimum of 2PQE experience within Employment law
  • Experience of dealing with claimant matters
