Job summary

JMC Legal Recruitment seeks an Employment Senior Associate to join a top-ranked Manchester team. You will work alongside nationally recognised partners on complex employer-side matters and be groomed for long-term progression within a market-leading practice.

You will manage a broad caseload spanning contentious and non-contentious employment including tribunal litigation, TUPE, restructures and executive exits, with direct mentoring and significant client exposure from day one.

Qualifications

• 5+ years PQE in Employment law.
• Experience handling tribunal and non-contentious matters.
• Mentoring and client exposure skills desirable.

The Role

You will work alongside some of the most respected Employment partners in the market, advising an outstanding client base ranging from household name businesses and multinational organisations through to high growth companies and major public sector bodies.

Your caseload will span the full range of contentious and non contentious employment matters, including complex tribunal litigation, TUPE, restructures and redundancies, executive exits, restrictive covenants, corporate support, workforce strategy and day to day advisory work.

This role is particularly suited to ambitious Employment lawyers looking to accelerate their progression, with experienced partners who are genuinely invested in developing the next generation of senior lawyers, providing direct mentoring, significant client exposure and involvement in strategically important matters from day one.
