Job summary

JMC Legal Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Employment PSL to join a market-leading team in Glasgow. The role focuses on knowledge management, updating resources and guiding colleagues across the practice.

You will monitor developments, produce guidance and training materials, and support service delivery for major UK employers while remaining closely connected to high-quality employment work.

Qualifications

• Solicitor with 4+ PQE in Employment law.
• Excellent drafting, research and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of employment legislation, case law and developments.
• Ability to present developments clearly to colleagues and clients.
• Commercial and pragmatic approach to legal problem solving.
• Strong organisational skills with multiple priorities.
• Collaborative mindset and interest in developing colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge infrastructure supporting the team’s employment advice.
• Update client-facing resources, document libraries and best-practice materials.
• Produce guidance notes, precedents, checklists and training materials for colleagues and clients.
• Monitor legal developments and translate updates into practical guidance.
• Collaborate with product and business change teams to improve tools and service delivery.
• Deliver training and contribute to client-facing initiatives and new service offerings.
