A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced Head of Professional Support Unit to lead its Employment, Pensions and Immigration (EPI) knowledge function. The Professional Support Unit (PSU) plays a central role in delivering innovative, technology-driven legal support across the firm. The PSU helps shape how the practice delivers advice, trains lawyers, and engages with clients through thought leadership, automation, and knowledge sharing.

The Role

As Head of the Professional Support Unit, you will lead a high-performing team of PSLs supporting the EPI National Service Line. This role offers a rare opportunity to influence firmwide strategy, champion innovation, and enhance how legal knowledge is developed and delivered.

About You

You will be a qualified solicitor with:

• Significant experience in employment law, ideally with additional knowledge of immigration or pensions law.
• Either proven experience as a senior PSL or equivalent senior fee-earning experience with a strong interest in knowledge and innovation.
• A passion for technology, automation, and process improvement within legal practice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce engaging, client-focused content.
• Strong interpersonal skills and commercial awareness, capable of influencing and inspiring others.
