Job summary

Obelisk Support is seeking an experienced interim Employment Lawyer to join the in-house legal team for a 3-month assignment, starting end of September. The role can be performed remotely or onsite at any of our UK offices.

You will provide day-to-day counsel on UK employment law, support restructuring and integration work related to acquisitions, and work with external counsel on cross-border matters. Pharma or life sciences experience is a useful bonus.

Qualifications

• Strong in-house background in employment law.
• Cross-border experience highly preferred.
• Pharma or life sciences sector experience would be useful.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day advice and counsel support to the in-house employment team.
• Support restructuring initiatives, including reviewing agreements and assisting with integration work related to recent acquisitions.
• Handle UK-based employment advice, coordinating with external counsel on restructuring projects.

Our client is looking for an experienced employment lawyer to join their in-house legal team on a 3-month assignment, starting end of September.

The Role

• Provide day-to-day advice and counsel support to the in-house employment team
• Support restructuring initiatives, including reviewing agreements and assisting with integration work related to recent acquisitions
• Handle UK-based employment advice, working alongside external counsel appointed on restructuring projects, complementing their input rather than duplicating it

What We're Looking For

• Strong in-house background in employment law
• Cross-border experience highly preferred,
• Pharma or life sciences sector experience would be useful

The role can be done remotely or onsite at any one of their UK offices; a 4 or 5 day working week can be accommodated.
