Job summary

Obelisk Support is seeking an interim employment lawyer to join its in-house legal team for a 3-month assignment, starting end of September. The role offers remote work with the possibility to work onsite at one of the UK offices.

You will provide day-to-day advice to the employment team, support restructuring initiatives, review agreements related to recent acquisitions, and handle UK-based employment matters in collaboration with external counsel.

Qualifications

• Strong in-house background in employment law.
• Cross-border experience highly preferred.
• Pharma or life sciences sector experience would be useful.

Our client is looking for an experienced employment lawyer to join their in-house legal team on a 3-month assignment, starting end of September.

The Role

• Provide day-to-day advice and counsel support to the in-house employment team
• Support restructuring initiatives, including reviewing agreements and assisting with integration work related to recent acquisitions
• Handle UK-based employment advice, working alongside external counsel appointed on restructuring projects, complementing their input rather than duplicating it

What We're Looking For

• Pharma or life sciences sector experience would be useful

The role can be done remotely or onsite at any one of their UK offices; a 4 or 5 day working week can be accommodated.
