Ideal candidates will have 5+ years PQE, deep employment law knowledge, excellent drafting skills, and a proactive, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years PQE / call.
• Excellent technical skills in a top-tier firm or chambers.
• Deep knowledge of employment law and practice.
• Proven track record in business development and knowledge commercialization.
• Excellent writing and drafting skills, with attention to detail.
• Great teamwork and ability to work independently with self-motivation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and with clients.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver the department's knowledge strategy in collaboration with other Knowledge Lawyers.
• Provide strategic support to identify and implement new Business Development initiatives.
• Use knowledge and technology to develop client opportunities and improve service delivery.
• Create content for client alerts, articles, and publications, including external media.
• Coordinate and deliver internal and client legal training with the Academy.
• Maintain precedents and know-how, including automated document assembly.
• Monitor developments and provide horizon scanning updates to lawyers and clients.
• Manage knowledge pages on the Firm's intranet and other repositories.
• Support risk management and compliance across the Department.
• Respond to technical law and practice queries from fee-earners.
• Undertake in-depth research to produce clear materials for fee-earners and clients.
• Contribute to development of national policy and legislation relating to employment law.
• Other Knowledge Lawyer duties as required.
