Job summary

Seetec Group is recruiting an Employment Adviser to join our team in Torbay. You will provide advice and support to guide participants to overcome barriers to employment and achieve realistic job goals, while managing a caseload as their coach and trusted contact toward sustainable work.

The role requires excellent customer service, initiative, and the ability to work under pressure. We offer a competitive salary and a benefits package, with opportunities for progression within Seetec Group.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the local labour market in Torbay and surrounding areas.
• Basic knowledge of self-employment and related resources.
• Fully IT literate with MS Office and digital tools.
• Experience working in a target-driven environment.
• Experience delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Meet and strive to exceed personal performance targets (KPIs).
• Progressively manage a caseload of referred customers to overcome barriers to employment.
• Deliver a positive experience to new customers and engage with the programme.
• Achieve customer service standards required by the programme.
• Facilitate assessments to understand individual circumstances and goals.
• Provide guidance on self-employment and signpost to specialists where needed.
• Co-create tailored Action Plans with SMART targets.
• Provide tailored job-search and interview support to secure sustainable employment.
• Help customers master digital technologies for guided self-service learning and vacancies.
• Ensure all evidence requirements are met to verify job starts.
