Job summary

Fieldfisher is inviting applications for the role of Employment Associate across its London, Manchester, or Birmingham offices in the United Kingdom. The role involves delivering pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice on a broad range of employment law matters, including workplace disputes and strategic people issues.

You will work on advisory and litigation matters, support organizational change programmes, and collaborate with colleagues across international offices to serve clients

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales or equivalent.
• Strong employment law expertise with commercial judgement and complex advisory and contentious experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation, networking and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with employment litigation and workplace investigations.
• Advise on disciplinary/grievance processes, redundancies, TUPE, employment status and exits.
• Support transformation projects, restructurings and outsourcing, including drafting consultations.
• Draft commercial advice, participate in client meetings, webinars and thought leadership.
• Support junior lawyers and trainees, assist with billing and file management, and collaborate across offices.
