Qualifications

As an Employment Advisor, you will work directly with a caseload of customers to help them overcome barriers to employment, providing vital support to transform their lives. By motivating and empowering individuals, you will help them develop skills and confidence for secure, sustained employment. You will develop strong relationships, encouraging, motivating, and challenging clients to reach their potential while meeting your targets.

• Meet personal performance targets and Key Performance Indicators.
• Manage a caseload using coaching strategies, preparing clients for interviews and job searching.
• Undertake assessments to understand clients' circumstances, preferences, and barriers.
• Co-produce tailored SMART action plans with interventions and development opportunities.
• Utilize local specialist services to address issues like substance misuse, debt, health, etc.
• Identify employer recruitment needs and conduct pre-screens and assessments.
• Create in-work support plans with participants and employers.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Comply with policies on data security, safeguarding, and health & safety.
• Work from local hubs and outreach locations to increase accessibility. Note: This role is fully office-based Mon - Fri.
