Job summary

S Knights Recruitment is seeking an Employer Liaison Officer based in West Yorkshire to nurture employer relationships, identify recruitment needs, and create job opportunities for individuals using employment support services.

The role involves developing partnerships with local businesses, understanding labour market conditions, and working with internal teams to connect suitable candidates with vacancies across Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in employer engagement, business development, recruitment or liaison.
• Confident in building relationships with employers and stakeholders.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
• Commercially aware with ability to identify opportunities and employer needs.
• Organised and proactive, able to manage multiple employer relationships and targets.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop relationships with local employers across West Yorkshire.
• Engage businesses to identify recruitment needs and opportunities.
• Support generation of vacancies and job opportunities for job seekers.
• Develop understanding of local labour market conditions and employer requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to connect candidates with opportunities.
• Maintain regular communication with employers and build long-term relationships.
• Identify opportunities to expand employer engagement and partnerships.
• Keep accurate records of employer activity, vacancies and relationships.
• Support employer engagement activity aligned with wider placement objectives.
