Are you fed up with reading job adverts filled with corporate buzzwords and tired clichés like “dynamic and fast-paced environment,” “self-starter with a can-do attitude,” and “hit the ground running”?
Read on, because we're looking to move away from that jargon. Our colleagues tell us they love working at Stowe, and we want to share that experience. We are seeking someone who can create, share, and amplify authentic stories about #LifeAtStowe as part of our People and Culture Team.
If you enjoy creating engaging internal and external content that inspires current colleagues and attracts new talent to our growing, forward-thinking, and friendly family law firm, then this could be the role for you.
What you will love doing (and be great at):
- Owning the narrative of our Employee Value Proposition, developing content that authentically conveys what it means to work at Stowe Family Law
- Sharing people stories, connecting with teams, and building relationships to accurately portray the working environment
- Utilising multiple channels and mediums to reach targeted audiences with appropriate messages
- Thinking creatively to develop compelling content for internal and external audiences
The role
- Content creation is central to this role; you will spend much of your time planning, writing, creating, and delivering effective communication across various mediums
- For internal audiences, this includes articles on our intranet Workvivo, supporting our annual Stowefest Conference, developing an internal podcast, and collaborating with colleague networks to promote connection and engagement
- Working with our Talent Acquisition team, you will help craft a consistent narrative around our EVP, including blogs and articles on our careers site, managing our candidate newsletter, enhancing our presence on social media platforms like LinkedIn and TikTok, and supporting lawyer networking events
- Collaborate with our marketing team and external PR agency to develop a comprehensive plan for our EVP, ensuring alignment with the wider Stowe Brand strategy
- Reporting to the Head of Culture and Communications, you will become a key member of our People and Culture Team, building strong relationships across marketing and legal teams
About you
- You have proven experience in creating compelling content, likely through roles in marketing, employer branding, or communications
- Excellent written and spoken English, with demonstrated ability to tailor content for different audiences
- Skills and experience in video creation and editing
- An appreciation for employee engagement and EVP, with the ability to connect the two seamlessly
- Ability to manage your workload and adapt to changing priorities
- Experience managing LinkedIn and creating content across various media
- A creative thinker, always exploring new ways to showcase what it means to work at Stowe
