Job summary

Seetec Group is seeking an Employer Account Executive to build relationships with local employers, secure quality job opportunities for young people, and support Youth Jobs Guarantee placements across Dorset & Hampshire. The role involves identifying vacancies, liaising with Youth Employment Advisors, ensuring programme compliance, and maintaining records.

You will need strong communication, negotiation and relationship skills, plus knowledge of recruitment practices and local labour markets.

Qualifications

• Experience of employer engagement, business development, recruitment, account management or job brokerage in a target-driven environment.
• Strong relationship management, communication, influencing and negotiation skills, with ability to convert engagement into opportunities.
• Good understanding of recruitment and employment practices, including onboarding, retention and progression.
• Clear understanding of the local labour market and ability to use insights to identify opportunities.
• Confident using Microsoft 365, CRM or case management systems and reporting.
• Willingness to travel across the designated delivery area as required.

We're Hiring: Employer Account Executive

At Seetec, we help people overcome barriers to employment and achieve their potential through our Employability and Health programmes.

We're looking for a proactive Employer Account Executive to support our Youth Jobs Guarantee programme. You'll build relationships with local employers, secure quality job opportunities for young people, and help participants gain the skills and experience needed for sustainable employment.

You'll develop a strong network of employers, identify suitable vacancies, and work closely with Youth Employment Advisors to match participants with opportunities. You'll also provide ongoing support to employers, ensure compliance with programme requirements, and maintain accurate records.

We're seeking someone with experience in employer engagement, recruitment, account management, business development, or job brokerage in a target-driven environment. Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills are essential, along with knowledge of recruitment practices, local labour markets, and Microsoft 365/CRM systems.

Experience in employability, youth employment, welfare to work, or skills programmes is desirable, alongside a passion for helping young people succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct employer due diligence and compliance checks, identifying and escalating risks where necessary.
• Monitor employer engagement and participant progression to drive positive outcomes.
• Encourage and support employers to provide sustainable, unsubsidised employment opportunities following funded placements.
• Maintain accurate employer, vacancy and compliance records to support reporting, audit and performance requirements.

Skills and Experience

Essential

• Experience of employer engagement, business development, recruitment, account management or job brokerage within a target-driven environment.
• Strong relationship management, communication, influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to convert employer engagement into suitable employment opportunities.
• Good understanding of recruitment and employment practices, including the factors that support effective onboarding, retention and progression.
• Clear understanding of the local labour market and ability to use insight to identify and develop employment opportunities.
• Confident using Microsoft 365, CRM or case management systems and management information.
• Ability and willingness to travel across the designated delivery area as required.

Desirable

• Experience within employment support, youth employment, welfare-to-work, skills or another publicly funded programme.
• Experience of creating employment opportunities for people who may face barriers to work.
• Knowledge of grant-funded employment, wage subsidy or apprenticeship programmes.
• Relevant qualification in recruitment, sales, account management, employability or business development.
