Job summary

STARK Building Materials UK in Coventry is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to provide expert ER support across the business, partnering with our outsourced ER provider to ensure consistent, compliant case management.

You will act as the key link between the business and the provider, oversee cases, coach managers, and identify trends to reduce risk while maintaining a positive colleague experience. The role is permanent with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Experience managing employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability, probation, flexible working and performance management matters.
• Strong understanding of UK employment law, company policy and ACAS best practice.
• Confident coaching and influencing managers to progress cases timely and consistently.
• Ability to build strong relationships with HR colleagues, operational leaders, managers and external ER providers.
• Experience working with outsourced HR or Employee Relations providers, monitoring service delivery and timescales.

Responsibilities

• Act as the internal point of contact for employee relations cases managed by the outsourced provider.
• Track case progress, follow up outstanding manager actions and ensure cases move forward within agreed timescales.
• Provide practical guidance to managers on disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability, probation, flexible working and performance matters.
