Following a department restructure, we are seeking experienced and confident Employee Relations Managers to join our People Directorate. This role involves providing expert support on employee relations matters, working closely with leaders, managers, staff-side representatives, and HR teams. You will promote fair and inclusive practices, embed our Just Culture principles, and support our people strategy.
Your responsibilities will include supporting complex employee casework, organizational change initiatives, and developing policies that align with employment law and best practices. You will coach managers on issues such as employment concerns, conduct, sickness absence, medical cases, and performance management.
You will manage a high-volume caseload, ensuring timely resolution, and support organizational change initiatives. Leading a team of Employee Relations Advisors, you will ensure consistency and quality in advice and casework, aiming to improve processes and delivery times.
In this role, you will deputize for the Deputy Head of Employee Relations, build strong relationships across all levels, and help foster a positive, values-led culture emphasizing fairness, compassion, and accountability.
