Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking an experienced HR Adviser with a strong employee relations focus to join our People Team in the United Kingdom. You will partner with leaders to manage a broad range of ER casework, provide expert, pragmatic advice and ensure fair and consistent policy application.

You will own ER casework, support change initiatives and contribute to consultations. The role requires confident handling of sensitive issues, strong employment law knowledge and the ability to coach

Qualifications

• Significant experience in an HR advisory role with a strong employee relations focus.
• Proven ability to manage complex ER cases end-to-end.
• Experience supporting organisational change and consultations.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law, especially ER and change.
• CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead on ER casework including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters.
• Provide risk-based, legally compliant advice to managers.
• Coach leaders to build capability in managing complex people issues.
• Prepare case documentation such as outcome letters and investigation reports.
• Manage cases end-to-end using the HR case management system.
• Identify ER trends and recommend improvements to reduce risk.
• Collaborate with HRBPs, legal advisors, OH and other stakeholders on high-risk cases.
