Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking an experienced HR Adviser with a strong employee relations focus to join our People Team in a hybrid role based in Epsom/ London. You will manage ER casework, advise leaders, support organisational change, and ensure policy compliance.

CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) is desirable, with excellent communication and stakeholder management. The role offers 37.5 hours per week, a competitive salary, and a benefits package including gym membership and pension options.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in an HR Advisory role with a strong employee relations focus.
• Proven ability to manage complex ER cases end-to-end.
• Sound knowledge of UK employment law, particularly ER and change.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead on a wide range of employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance and wellbeing matters.
• Provide expert, risk-based advice to managers, ensuring outcomes are fair, consistent, and legally compliant.
• Coach, support and challenge leaders to build capability in managing complex people issues.
• Prepare high-quality case documentation, including outcome letters and investigation reports.
• Manage cases end-to-end through the HR case management system with accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify ER trends and recommend improvements to reduce risk and enhance employee experience.
• Collaborate with HRBPs, legal advisors, occupational health, and other stakeholders on high-risk cases.
• Support organisational change programmes and TUPE activities, ensuring compliance with employment law.
