As an ER Lead, you’ll collaborate with different people across various skillsets. Here’s a glimpse of your day-to-day:

  • Leadership: Co-design and lead the Employee Relations (ER) strategy, ensuring alignment with People & Culture objectives. Develop and implement consistent ER policies globally.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of ER advisors across Great Britain, providing guidance and support to ensure effective support to colleagues and managers.
  • Strategic Development: Develop and execute a GB ER strategy aligned with business objectives, continuously monitoring and improving ER processes.
  • Partnerships and Compliance: Build strong relationships with local P&C and Retail Directors, manage complex cases, and ensure legal compliance through local experts.
  • Union Collaboration: Maintain relationships with Union (USDAW) representatives to ensure effective communication and compliance with agreements.
  • Expert Guidance and Training: Advise P&C Business Partners and line managers on ER matters, develop ER training programs, and monitor trends for continuous improvement.
