Employee Relations Lead

Position Details:

  • 39 hours per week (flexible start and finish times)
  • Fixed Term Contract - 6 months
  • Location: Near Warwick, with travel between two UK sites
  • Hybrid working: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote

Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for Employee Relations? If so, I’d like to hear from you.

The Employee Relations Lead will ensure the company’s compliance with employment laws, providing expert advice on employment law issues, developing policies, and managing legal risks related to HR practices.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with UK Employment Law, including policy updates
  • Stay informed on employment legislation changes and communicate them effectively
  • Audit HR policies and practices for compliance and improvement
  • Draft and implement documentation aligned with employment law
  • Support employee relations matters: disciplinary actions, exits, conflict resolution, tribunals
  • Conduct investigations into grievances and disciplinary issues
  • Develop and deliver training on employment law topics
  • Lead ‘Respect at Work’ initiatives and training
  • Educate HR and management on legal compliance and best practices
  • Analyze Employee Relations data to identify root causes and solutions
  • Assist with legal claims and prepare relevant documentation
  • Identify legal risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Maintain accurate records of all legal and HR activities

Minimum requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources or Employment Law
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent HR experience
  • Deep knowledge of employment legislation
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships across senior levels, including high-profile ER cases
  • Ability to analyze HR data and present insights to senior stakeholders
