Job summary

The Roleas in Warrington is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to join our People team. You will manage a varied caseload of ER matters, advise managers on disciplinaries, grievances, and absence, and provide practical guidance on employment law.

You will coach managers, support investigations, and help identify trends to improve processes. A CIPD qualification or progress is advantageous, and a pragmatic, commercially minded approach is essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience in an Employee Relations advisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practice.
  • Experience managing a broad range of ER cases in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident stakeholder management with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload of employee relations matters from initial advice through to resolution.
  • Support managers with disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management processes.
  • Provide practical, commercially focused guidance on employment law and HR best practice.
  • Coach and upskill managers to improve confidence and capability in managing people matters.
  • Support investigations, hearings and appeals where required.
  • Identify trends and recurring themes and work with the People team to implement solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with managers and stakeholders across the business.
  • Ensure a consistent and fair approach to employee relations matters.
