Job summary

Macmillan Cancer Support is hiring a Money and More caseworker to provide high quality, holistic advice across welfare benefits, employment, debt prevention and related areas to people affected by cancer. You’ll work across channels to ensure the right support at the right time.

This role involves high-volume caseloads, early intervention, and clear signposting. You’ll collaborate with a supportive team and may undertake face-to-face appointments in East and West Sussex when needed. DBS required.

Qualifications

• You are an empathetic communicator who explains complex information simply.
• As a resourceful and adaptable caseworker, you’ll effectively manage a caseload and be focussed on achieving great outcomes for people at a vulnerable time in their lives.
• You must be a team player, open to feedback and keen to learn quickly.
• Specialist welfare benefit experience is an advantage, but full support and training is available for candidates who can demonstrate they will be able to move through training at pace.
• DBS required for this role.
