Nycil is seeking a Personal Support Assistant to help a 15-year-old in Seamer, Scarborough with morning and afternoon routines in a lively home environment. The role includes personal care, meal support, and transport with an escort, plus occasional holiday day care.

You will build a caring relationship through conversation, singing, and engagement. The position offers multiple weekly hours (mornings and holidays), with DBS clearance required and access to training courses.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children who have extreme or unique special needs is essential.
• DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance is required; access to relevant training courses is available.

Responsabilités

• Assist the young man with morning routines: getting up, washing, dressing, and personal care.
• Help with breakfast, eating support, and escort to taxi with his escort.
• Stay with him in the afternoon to support activities at home and supervise personal care as needed.
• Holiday day care involves outings to garden centres, the beach, library, swimming, and family days.
