Job summary

Renfrewshire Health & Social Care Partnership Care at Home Services are recruiting a Home Care Worker for Extra Care Housing on a temporary basis. The role provides care and support to adults living in four extra care housing developments across the authority.

You will assist with personal care, meals, daily living activities and monitor changes in needs. The post runs 25 hours per week on a 4 days on/4 days off rota, with training provided and Disclosure Scotland checks required.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a care setting and delivering intimate personal care.
• Must be registered with the SSSC or achieve registration within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assisting service users with personal care including washing, dressing and toileting.
• Helping with meals and daily living activities to maintain independence.
• Communicating effectively and monitoring changes in care needs.
