We'd love you to join us to help promote the health and wellbeing of prisoners entering HMP Preston. Emotional Resilience Facilitators will support the delivery of Pact’s Emotional Resilience service to benefit prisoners. If you have an understanding of prison, and are a real 'doer' and 'people person', you might be the person we're looking for.
About You:
Please note that this role is open to individuals with their own personal experience of imprisonment, and those without.
Because you personally know what prison's like, you'll be able to connect with people in prison, empathise with their emotional challenges, and work to support them effectively. You'll be comfortable communicating with people of all backgrounds, able to find the right words and tone to help people share your vision, and be a great listener who understands others' points of view. You will be hardworking, naturally organised, calm under pressure, and experienced in liaising with various people and organisations to achieve goals. If this sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.
Organisation:

What we offer:
Pact offers a range of benefits including a free advice, information, and counselling service, contributory pension, corporate eye care scheme, cycle to work scheme, and generous holiday entitlement. You will have opportunities for professional development through training and interventions. You will undergo a thorough induction and be supported by a friendly, enthusiastic team.
