Job Description:

We are recruiting an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant for our new academy, supporting the development and education of pupils. The successful candidate will support pupils with physical, emotional, and/or educational needs in accordance with academy policy. There may also be a requirement to work with pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans or additional educational needs throughout the Key Stages.

Experience working with primary or secondary-aged children, with the ability to raise aspirations to ensure the best possible outcomes, will be beneficial. The candidate should be able to motivate children, have a passion for positive outcomes, and maintain high expectations of children’s emotional, social, and mental health development. An ELSA Qualification would be desirable or a willingness to undertake training. Excellent interpersonal skills and good knowledge of ICT, especially as the academy utilises One:One devices, are essential.
