Job summary

Bentley Motors is seeking a Technical Manager for the Environmental & Propulsion Test team in Crewe. You will drive emissions testing, range and consumption tests, and report to the Functional Manager – Environmental and Propulsion Test.

The role focuses on technical responsibility and developing robust processes for regulatory compliance and future test methods. Experience in automotive or aerospace testing, type approval, and an engineering background are valued.

Qualifications

• Detailed experience of current Emissions test technology and future trends.
• Exposure to and use of state-of-the-art test methods and processes.
• Detailed experience of current and future legislative requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute emissions testing to meet customer timelines and quality.
• Develop, implement and commission innovative test solutions for Bentley and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and best practices for lab and real-world emissions testing.
• Manage lab capability and capacity planning to meet future needs.
