Job summary

Samsung Electronics in Chertsey invites applications for a Sustainability & Compliance Placement. You will support SEUK’s legal, compliance and sustainability team by aiding policy development, training delivery and audits, while tracking regulatory changes and proposing practical improvements. This is a dynamic, global role with exposure to cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

Background in environmental sustainability preferred.
Strong communication and networking skills.
Able to manage own time and plan tasks.
Creative problem solving and initiative.

Responsibilities

Reviewing, administering and improving SEUK’s compliance policies and processes.
Providing general administrative support, including the co-ordination of compliance training delivery.
Conducting audits to assess the effectiveness of SEUK’s compliance policies and processes.
Support the Sustainability Manager for SEUK and Ireland.
Monitor emerging regulation and inform colleagues of changes impacting the business.
Generate and develop ideas to tackle sustainability issues.
Support the compliance team on ad-hoc business needs.
