Samsung Electronics Perú is seeking a Sustainability & Compliance placement to support the UK & Ireland teams. You will assist on governance, policies, and training, contributing to the company’s sustainable practices.

You will work hybrid from Samsung House, Chertsey, and engage with internal stakeholders to drive compliance and environmental initiatives.

Qualifications

• Environmental/sustainability background is desirable.
• Creative problem solver with the confidence to build processes to support business needs.
• Strong MS Excel skills are essential.
• Good communication, networking and influencing skills.
• Self-starter showing initiative in tasks.
• A general understanding of UK/EU legislative processes is essential.

Responsibilities

• Review, administer and improve SEUK’s compliance policies and processes.
• Provide general administrative support, including coordinating compliance training delivery.
• Conduct audits to assess the effectiveness of SEUK’s compliance policies and processes.
• Support the Sustainability Manager for SEUK and Ireland.
• Monitor emerging regulation and inform colleagues of changes impacting the business.
• Generate ideas and solutions to tackle sustainability issues.

The Sustainability & Compliance Placement is needed to support the Sustainability, Compliance and Health & Safety Managers, ensuring that compliance requirements are met, support the development/ implementation of policies and strategies to address legal obligations, and work with both external partners and internal teams to support the diverse needs of the business.
