This is a 6-month fixed-term contract position. We’re looking for an experienced, passionate, and organized Emerging Talent Recruiter to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in attracting, recruiting, and hiring apprentices, graduates, placement students, and interns into our business, so it will be essential to demonstrate experience in early years recruitment. Working closely with hiring managers, educational institutions, and candidates, you’ll help deliver a positive, inclusive, and professional recruitment experience at every stage of the process.

You’ll support the end-to-end recruitment process – from planning campaigns and reviewing applications to facilitating assessment centres and managing offers. You’ll manage candidates through each stage of the selection process to meet deadlines, ensuring a positive experience. You’ll also help build strong pipelines of future talent and contribute to projects that enhance the early careers experience.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing recruitment campaigns across apprenticeship, graduate, placement, and intern programmes in the UK and internationally, ensuring quality, diversity, and a positive candidate experience.
  • Working with the Emerging Talent Recruitment Lead to gather and confirm recruitment target numbers from the business.
  • Managing queries from internal colleagues and external candidates.
  • Building strong relationships with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and stakeholders, providing advice and support throughout recruitment and onboarding.
  • Supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across Emerging Talent recruitment.
  • Keeping recruitment systems updated, screening applications, and progressing candidates with proactive communication, including pre-assessment coaching.
  • Providing tailored support to candidates with disabilities or health conditions, coordinating reasonable adjustments for an inclusive experience.
  • Planning and delivering selection events, managing feedback and outcomes.
  • Supporting insight programmes and engagement events for potential candidates.
  • Maintaining contact with new joiners and placement students before they start, creating a positive pre-join experience.
  • Managing onboarding for multiple intakes and coordinating inductions.
  • Building partnerships with universities, schools, colleges, and industry peers, promoting our employer brand.
  • Supporting marketing campaigns to attract and engage candidates.
  • Assisting with supplier management for external media and attraction services.
  • Ensuring representatives are prepared for assessment centres and events.
  • Maintaining accurate recruitment data and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Contributing ideas to improve recruitment processes.
  • Working towards net zero carbon goals, managing associated emissions and reductions.

You’ll need to have:

  • Experience in early careers recruitment (essential)
  • A passion for supporting early careers development and promoting diversity and inclusion
  • Confidence with applicant tracking systems and recruitment technologies
  • Strong skills in MS Office and data tools like PowerBI
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines
  • Effective communication skills to engage with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach
  • A flexible, solutions-focused mindset with attention to detail
  • A commitment to high-quality candidate and hiring manager experiences
