Job Title: Emerging Talent Recruiter (Fixed Term Contract)
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and organized Emerging Talent Recruiter to join our team for a 6-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will be responsible for attracting, recruiting, and hiring apprentices, graduates, placement students, and interns, with a focus on early years recruitment. You will work closely with hiring managers, educational institutions, and candidates to ensure a positive, inclusive, and professional recruitment experience at every stage of the process.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing recruitment campaigns for apprenticeship, graduate, placement, and intern programs both in the UK and internationally, ensuring quality, diversity, and a positive candidate experience.
- Collaborating with the Emerging Talent Recruitment Lead to determine recruitment targets.
- Handling queries from internal colleagues and external candidates.
- Building strong relationships with hiring managers, HR partners, and stakeholders, providing expert advice throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in emerging talent recruitment.
- Maintaining recruitment systems, screening applications, and providing proactive communication, including pre-assessment coaching.
- Supporting candidates with disabilities or health conditions by coordinating reasonable adjustments for an inclusive experience.
- Planning and delivering selection events, including interviews and assessment centers, and managing candidate feedback.
- Engaging with potential candidates through insight programs and events.
- Maintaining contact with new joiners and placement students to ensure a positive pre-joiner experience.
- Managing onboarding processes for multiple intakes, including inductions for placement students.
- Building partnerships with educational institutions, job boards, and industry peers, and representing the company at career fairs and events.
- Supporting marketing campaigns to attract and engage candidates.
- Coordinating external media and attraction services.
- Ensuring effective representation at assessment centers and external events.
- Maintaining accurate recruitment data and providing reports to stakeholders.
- Contributing ideas for process improvements in talent attraction and selection.
- Participating in efforts towards net zero carbon transition by managing associated emissions during work delivery.
Qualifications and skills required:
- Experience in recruitment, especially in early careers hiring (essential).
- Passion for supporting early careers development and promoting diversity and inclusion.
- Confidence with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, with experience in data tools like Power BI preferred.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- Relationship-building skills with a proactive, collaborative approach.
