Job summary

EMR Group is seeking an enthusiastic Early Careers Specialist to join our People team. You’ll coordinate apprenticeship, graduate, placement and work experience programmes, helping to attract, develop and retain our next generation of talent across the business.

Working with the Emerging Talent Lead, you’ll manage projects, build relationships with schools and providers, support learning and development, and ensure high-quality experiences for participants while travelling across the UK.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in an Early Careers, Emerging Talent or Apprenticeships role, with understanding of apprenticeship programmes and placement processes.
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to facilitate meetings and deliver presentations.
• Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience coordinating projects or programmes from planning through delivery.
• Experience supporting recruitment activities from attraction to assessment.
• Experience in a Learning and Development environment, supporting design or delivery of training.
• Ability to build trust and offer guidance to individuals at different stages of development.
• Proactive and flexible approach with willingness to travel across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Delivering Early Careers programmes and improving apprenticeship, graduate, placement and work experience offerings.
• Coordinate apprenticeship activity, ensuring funding compliance and provider relationships.
• Support Early Careers recruitment and coordinate assessment centres.
• Develop future talent pipelines with business and Emerging Talent Lead.
• Build relationships with colleagues across the business and with external providers.
• Contribute to design and delivery of inductions and development opportunities.
• Provide ongoing support and mentoring to emerging talent.
• Coordinate outreach with schools and colleges to raise career opportunities.
• Manage multiple projects with deadlines and ensure accurate delivery.
• Support progression and retention initiatives with line managers.
• Contribute to the People strategy with Emerging Talent Lead.
